The burned interior of the station wagon that was discovered following the disappearance of activists Michael Schwerner, James Chaney, and Andrew Goodman in Mississippi in 1964.

This is the inside of the burnt up car that the civil rights workers drove. This will be displayed because it is a massive object that people can not ignore and will force the hard conversation about the murders.

This is the FBI's missing person poster on the three missing civil rights workers. This will be displayed because it shows the civil rights workers poster and forces the murderers to see the face of the men that they killed.

These are the dug up bodies of the three missing civil rights workers. The bodies will be displayed because they show the true horror of what happened to the men.

This is the memorial marker for the three murdered civil rights workers. This would be displayed because the event is a memorial for the men so it is very fitting for their memorial marker to be displayed.

  1. I like the way a lot of these photos look like they're from a crime scene. It really fits the Mississippi Burning theme.
